The greatest potential to improve daily life is in the places people live and build, where environmental damage is concentrated and the most people feel its effects. Restoring remote forests and habitat is important for the broader environment, but it doesn’t always have the visible, direct impact needed to build support and funding for future projects.

I studied Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University, specializing in climate resilience and public education. My work includes transportation planning, environmental analysis, and GIS projects. I have directed $1.5 million in matching funds to successful grant applications totaling over $7 million for multimodal transportation infrastructure.

Recent work includes a spatial screening tool for beaver conflict and restoration analysis, built with Python in ArcGIS Pro, and a micromobility impact report (pg. 22) for the Association for Commuter Transportation. As project manager for my senior capstone, I piloted the migration of NASA GLOBE Observer’s Mosquito Habitat Mapper to the CitSci platform in Fort Collins.
